Coming out of the Spiritual Closet: December 2023

It's been a long time coming. I was hesitant to go public with my website and FB page because most

people I know are not aware of my intuitive/mediumistic abilities or practice. It's something I have kept private given my long career in post-secondary education. Working in an academic environment, as both an educator and director/dean, I quickly learned that the gifts that often accompany spiritual development are not always accepted. Many within the field of academia construe psychics or mediums as charlatans, at worse, or delusional at best, so I remained silent until I recently took early retirement from a career I loved. I support critical thinking, healthy skepticism, and the validation of empirical evidence; however, I also am all too aware that there are mystical elements in our living world that cannot be validated through scientific measures. One day that will occur, as the two fields meld, but until then, I will be another outlier who not only believes in the mystical side of life, but who knows that it exists. By posting my website, I am standing in my truth and declaring my whole being: one that is educated, logical, grounded, spiritual, mystical, and magical. Are you ready to stand in your own light?
