Loved this Book!

I am not religious in spite of being baptized and confirmed as a Catholic. I do not believe in man-made dogma, and I am gravely concerned at how many people have died in the name of their God. I also believe that swaths of information in the bible have been misinterpreted, omitted or intentionally altered, and this has caused considerable confusion, discrimination, and violence. I do understand, however, how people find comfort and community in their religion or church. If done in a peaceful and non-judgmental way, religion can soothe some souls. There are many paths to the Source, the Great Spirit, or God.

I have to admit that for a long time, I wasn't even certain Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) was an historical figure although I was told decades ago by a psychic-medium that I had lived during the time of Jesus. I had taken that with a grain of salt and pretty much forgot about it. Imagine my surprise when I was undergoing a QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique) session a month or so ago, and one of the lives I went back to was with Jesus. I was female in that life and went to hear him speak. I became friends with his wife, Mary Magdalene. It was such a powerful memory that tears rolled down my cheeks as I was describing it during the hypnosis session.

Given that, I suppose it's not a surprise that I felt drawn to listen to a book on Audible entitled, "Jesus: My Autobiography." I really hadn't read anything about Jesus since Catholic grade school, so the fact that I purchased this book was unusual to say the least. I not only liked the book, I loved it and listened to it twice!

The book is channelled by Tina Louise Spalding. Here is a description from the book:

“I have come at this time, in this place, and through this being to speak my truth, to speak the story of my life the true story of my life.”

The purpose of this book is to clarify, to tell the truth, and to share my energies with you so that you can begin the transformation of your mind and, therefore, the transformation of your heart and your world. It is in the mis-teachings that have been associated with my name that much death and pain has been caused and that much guilt and self-recrimination has been expressed. That was not my purpose; that was not my lesson.

I talk about the truth of my birth and the truth of my life. I cover some stories that are recounted in the Bible and tell you the true story of those events. I describe some of my personal traits, my human traits, and I define what I am, who I am, and why these things happened. You will be able to understand the truth, and you will begin this reconditioning...

This book resonated with me, and I have to admit some of what I remembered during the QHHT session was confirmed in this book. My personal beliefs about religion and Jesus were also validated in the book. As I wrote above, I liked it so much, I felt the urge to listen to it a second time, and I'm glad I did because I missed some information the first time.
