It's been quite a week if you live in North America as the news has been inundated with headlines that either cause joy or anxiety depending on your stance. I personally unplugged from the news and turned to art, music, meditation, and nature to allow me to center myself and not be influenced by the political predictions in all news media, including those of lightworkers making further claims about rigged and stolen elections.

Turning inward, I connect with my Spirit team who assuage any concerns that I may have and who remind me of my own personal power. I trust that all is going according to plan, and I am strong in my conviction that I am not alone and a higher power guides me. I am sending love and peace to all, even those whose political leanings are diametrically opposed to my own. We are all one, and are on a learning journey together.

I asked Spirit to select a card for this week, and they chose the Star Tarot deck by Cathy McClelland. The card they wished for me to share is the Nine of cups. This is considered the "wish card" of the tarot, for if you pull this card, you will get your wish, or the answer to your question will be a positive one. The nine of cups is one of the best cards in the deck and indicates great happiness and abundance. This card expresses the mother principle in that the more love you give, the more you will receive. This card is one of good fortune, happiness, abundance, and security.

The nine of cups offers you an opportunity to share your wealth, wisdom, and happiness with others. This is a card for wishes. What you wish for, you will attract as I discussed in previous blogs. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for..." is true, so it's important to go inward and meditate on what you really, really want and how it will impact you and those around you.

This card could not come at a better time. If your world around you seems uncertain or bleak, quiet yourself, go inward, and wish for the many things that will bring peace and joy. Attract what you put out into the world.

On another note, I said I would share some of the songs that bring me joy or inspire me, but there are so many, I thought I would start off with one instead. Although not religious, I do love "Amazing Grace," especially played by the flute. There is a wonderful energy with this song. Enjoy!
